Halcyon agent partners now have access to Westchester's Monoline Property and Commercial package solutions for middle-market premiums on non-admitted paper. Westchester offers Property and General Liability exposures in the Middle Market space available in all states except Arkansas, Colorado, Hawaii, and Oklahoma. Westchester is rated A++ by A.M. Best and can consider a property with a total insurance value from $2.5M to $15M. Also, you can write coastal wind and cat exposed properties. We encourage our agency partners to take advantage of this phenomenal market.

PREFERRED RISKS FOR TRI-COUNTY, HILLSBOROUGH, & PINELLAS COUNTIES

Guidelines for preferred risks with exposures in Broward, Miami-Dade, Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Palm Beach Counties in Florida include construction types: MNC or Modified Fire Resistive / Fire Resistive with a minimum of 5 miles distance from the coast. Westchester prefers property built in 1995 or newer. The minimum premium for preferred risks is $15,000.

STANDARD RISKS FOR TRI-COUNTY, HILLSBOROUGH, & PINELLAS COUNTIES

Guidelines for standard risks accepted by this market include the following construction types: Joisted Masonry, Masonry Non-Combustible, Modified Fire-Resistive/ Fire Resistive. Also, for light metal construction, it must be more than three miles from the coast and can include frame. Westchester prefers property built in 1985 or newer. The minimum premium for standard risks is $25,000.

**For Preferred and Standard accounts with exposures in Monroe County, the minimum premium is $75,000. All other counties outside the above will have a minimum premium of $15,000.

There are over 20 additional classes eligible for Monoline Property, such as Contractors, Churches, Dental Offices, Financial Advisory firms, and much more.

GENERAL LIABILITY

Although the wording of each policy must be individually scrutinized, generally speaking, there is no coverage for business interruption claims caused by the novel coronavirus.

Get your insureds the coverage they need with a package policy. The appetite for Westchester's general liability for the middle market includes limits up to $1M/$2M, up to 500,000 square feet, $10M in sales, and 1,000 units. In fact, for most classes, hired and non-owned auto coverage is available.
